Howie Mandel pulled out all the stops to help Tim apologize to his brother and former bandmate Nick on the latest installment of “Mobbed” (Wed., 9 p.m. EST on Fox.). There was a professional dance crew on hand, as well as rapper Ace Hood, DJ Ravi and even Everclear front man Art Alexakis. The latter was on hand to present Nick with an authentic Gibson Les Paul guitar.
But Nick proved a difficult target, after the hired actor to play a record producer pushed some of his buttons. Musical integrity was clearly pretty important to Nick, as he flipped his lid when the fake producer started presenting his ideas to make Nick’s music more “marketable.”
“We’ve made it a rap song,” he explained. “And then I’ve replaced your voice with a rapper.”
